The K-9 Center

When our Dogo Argentino turned one he started showing territorial and aggressive behavior. It became a bit of a nightmare. I was scared to take him places and introduce him to people. Amanda was lovely, she was very knowledgeable about the breed. Amanda understood our dog was a member of the family. I would highly recommend the K9 center. Today I can bring my dog everywhere again and I feel confident about introducing him to new people.

I did a lot of research and was nervous and scared with the possibility of boarding my dog. He was 18 months old with some bad habits and became aggressive with entering the crate. We were put at ease with John and Amanda at k9 that he would be ok. Of course I picked the two weeks with a snowstorm and the coldest of temperatures. He survived the two weeks and I now have a transformed dog and life with him is amazing. He walks on the leash and heals no longer lunging at bicycles or other dogs. He now stays on long stays for an hour at a time while we are eating dinner or prepping meals. No longer begging or jumping on table at meals. Our biggest challenge was the crate and he now goes in easily with commands and sometimes on his own. The best thing about k9 is that there is a lifetime guarantee. We continue to go to classes to sharpen up on leash control and behavior around other dogs and distractions. Lindsey and Amanda have been so kind and great with this emotional mom missing her dog for the two weeks he was boarded. This was the best decision I’ve ever made and I wish I did it sooner. I highly recommend K9 for any type of dog training needed.

My family and I have used the K-9 center for over 30yrs. The staff always has the patience for the dog as well as the owner. The life time training at first may seem expensive but they have many classes per week you can go too as well as one on one training that last the life of the dog. Owner John Browne will never say where have you been (if life keeps you away from class) He only will say where did we leave off and lets get to work.
