The K9 Class

I started bringing my puppy when he was about 3 months old once he received all his shots, and he has been going about twice a week for the 6 months since. He had a great personality, wanting to meet every human or dog he came across, and since going to the K9 Class, he has the manners to match. We try to get him out into as many unique situations as we can, and we can see the improvement in the way that he greets people/dogs, the way he waits to enter or exit buildings, the way he gauges how playful or not another dog is. The trainers are great and love working with him. They take your feedback and apply it to what you want your pet to be trained on, and give you things you can work on with them at home to help reinforce the trainings. As an added bonus, he loves going there to see all of his friends, including the trainers. Can't recommend this place highly enough, the results are evident.

When recommending a trainer for our dog I didn’t even think twice before recommending K9 Class. And realized I failed on leaving a review prior.. but I need to tell everyone to just trust and believe that as dog owners, having a qualified and competent trainer will give quality of life for your dog and provide a better environment for everyone. We’ve had Sky for almost a year and a half, and Ron trained her right after we got her. As first time pet owners we felt overwhelmed with the amount of responsibility and things we didn’t even knew about it. I wanted to share with a bit of her development with skills. Even with “minimum wage” and rewarding a lot with bonding, play time, she has been excelling with commands, even non verbally (gestures). Although very cuddly and a sweetheart, she does well staying alone and being crated when needed. And she was a loud cryer during crate time prior to board and training. Just wanted to again appreciate all the work Ron and Huel did with her and for having educated me on the correct ways to train her. We’re beyond grateful!
