The K9 Class

We cannot say enough great things about The K9 Class. We shopped around looking for a place that could provide training, daycare and overnight care and when we met Ron we knew K9 was going to be the right fit for us. Everyday at pick up Ronny goes over what he worked on and the one on one sessions help reinforce the training in our home. Our high energy Irish setter / golden retriever is performing at a level much greater than we could have anticipated. Everyday Bode finishes class happy, well socialized with the other dogs and consistently improving his sit, down, stay, heel, fetch. His off collar work is incredible and allows me to incorporate my three young children in the training. We are so pleased and could not recommend higher.

We love this training location, and they love our puppy. We started training at 4 months old with our bernedoodle, and she has come a long way. The staff know us when we walk in the door, our pup is excited to go to school, and we have learned just as much about training as our pup! Anyone looking to have a well behaved dog should look into this training team! We specifically chose them because they do overnight boarding and training while at boarding. They just got a new online system that allows you to book online which has been great for days we need to cancel last minute. And the new report cards are lots of fun! If you have a puppy that you want to start with training right off the bat, an aggressive dog, or you want your pup to learn new tricks this is a fantastic training facility.

I cannot recommend The K9 Class in Kensington highly enough! Our boxer, Solar, has been attending both private and group (daycare) training sessions here, and the experience has been nothing short of outstanding. The professionalism and expertise of Ron, the owner, are evident from the moment you walk in. His deep understanding of canine behavior and his ability to tailor training to each dog's unique needs make all the difference. Hugh and Ronnie, both members of Ron's team, are equally remarkable. Their dedication and patience with the dogs are clear in every interaction. As a first-time dog owner, I’ve found the daily verbal reports and advice from Ronnie especially helpful. He takes the time to provide detailed feedback on Solar’s progress at the end of the day. We have seen significant improvements in Solar’s behavior, and I feel more confident as a dog owner thanks to their guidance.
