The K9 Class

I have known Morris and Ron (K9 class) for the past 5 years. Went to their facility to take a group class in 2020 with my golden retriever puppy who was 12 weeks old and his name was Zudo. Zudo was very well trained after the class I took from K9 group and he was the most gentle and genuine fur baby you could have ever met. K9 class offered to put an invisible fence around my house and I didn’t think for a second. I took the offer and Zudo was very well trained and in fact Morris came to train him around the house. Fast forward to 2023, I lost Zudo with cancer and we were devastated. Couldn’t take his loss at all. 2 months later after his passing away, we decide to get another golden retriever and guess where he just came from? He came from a 2 week bootcamp class offered by the k9 class and Bruno is an absolute champion. Morris kept us up to date on brunos progress everyday by sending us pictures and videos. Not only did he did that, after spending 2 weeks with the Bruno, he spent 2 hours at our home trying to teach us what he did. A review is not enough for these people. I genuinely recommend Morris and Ron with their expertise with dogs. Kudos team 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍🫡🫡🫡. At the end, look no further. Morris and Ron know what they are doing and I would definitely recommend the k9group for your pets needs and training.

Ron is simply amazing! Took my 10 month old American Bulldog to him for board and train. I cannot express the gratitude I have for what he has done with her. She is in service dog training and we were discouraged at first because she was very stubborn and skittish. After her month with Ron in her one on one time I was able to take her to her first conference for my job to see how she would do, she was stupendous! She shocked me with how well she heeled and automatically sat next to me when we stopped walking. She placed behind my booth and did not move from her spot unless I called. She did get overly tired mid to end of day due to over stimulation which Ron did explain would happen due to her not being exposed to that environment before now.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK OUT THE K9 CLASS!!!! Our trainer, Ron Davidson, was the best trainer my wife and I had ever worked with…..period. We recently adopted a “Lab Mix” (Luna) at 4 months old and she was just a ball of defiant adorable energy. Just after the first meeting with Ron we saw an immediate change with our new pup. It was amazing to see how incredibly fast Luna switched up her act in the first 10 min of Ron doing his thing! Ron is so educated in how you canines behave and what makes them tick. I highly recommend you go for a package class. Not only is your dog learning but you are also learning what to do/not do. My wife and I gained a ton of valuable information from Ron and are so happy we decided to work with him. Trust me, it’s the best decision that you will ever make for your dog!!!!

We were at our breaking point. We’d used another trainer, read books, watched training videos, and yet, we still had minimal results. That alone was frustrating enough, but then our two-year old GSD started attacking our Shiba inu, who for the past 18 months has been her best friend, play buddy, and constant companion. As we tried to manage this behavior, we reached out to our vet and an animal behaviorist they recommended. Unfortunately, the behaviorist couldn’t see us for a month. Then the attacks came every other day. Frantic for a solution that would not include giving up our GSD. Then we found Morris (thank you to all of the reviewers who left feedback for us to read), and God Bless them, they were able to take our GSD for a two week board and train. When Morris showed up 72 hours after we first called (we were very lucky with the timing as Morris was just completing a two-week training with another dog), and from the moment Morris put the leash on her, she knew the gig was up. Morris spent over an hour getting a feel for how we were interacting with the GSD, how she was interacting with the other dogs, and talking to us about the process. Truth be told, the time that the GSD was out of the house felt like a vacation from all of the stress, behavior management, and constantly being on guard. I didn’t miss any of that nonsense. The energy in our house was completely different and I realized how the entire house was more relaxed. When Morris brought our girl home he spent almost 2 1/2 hours working with us, the GSD, and commands. He went into great detail about what we should expect the first 72 hours. He walked us through reintroducing her to the other dogs, showing us the clues to watch for when they were interacting outside. He did not leave until we were comfortable that we could take it from there. Her first night home was awkward. We could tell that everyone was on pins and needles. We guided everyone through it by doing what Morris had advised, and within 24 hours of the GSD being home -following her commands, it seemed like the rest of the pack relaxed, knowing we were finally in control. It’s only been four days. FOUR days. And I can’t tell you how much happier everyone is now that we no longer have an out of control teenager. We are working on her commands all day, either in the yard, or randomly giving her commands in the house. She’s adjusted to no longer having the power much faster than I expected, and we are enjoying her around as opposed to being stressed out all of the time. Thank you, Morris!

Morris completely changed my 3 year olds behavior, she would bark and launched at people when they get too close. He helped me figure out it was flight or fight behavior out of fear. He taught me how to get her out of thay mind sent and now we can stand and walk right next to people with no reaction out of her. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for help training their dogs/puppies.
