Mike has been an absolute blessing to our family. Our dog has been training with Mike for 7 months now, and we have seen vast improvements in Papi's behaviors and confidence. Before Mike, Papi was unpredictable and fearful of other dogs. It has been so amazing to finally watch Papi crack out of shell and be a confident boy! Now Papi listens with us at home, and has made some dog friends along the way (which I never could have imagined). Through out the whole process, Mike has been informative, encouraging, and always available to answer questions. He is passionate about what he does, and you can tell how much he invests into each dog as if it were his own. I have full confidence in Mike, and would recommend him to anyone I know. Mike is amazing! He is truly one of a kind. The depth of his understanding of dogs and how they think combined with his ability to teach us as owners how to communicate with our dogs has been priceless. His passion and commitment to what he does comes through in every interaction we have had with him. When other trainers gave up (one even recommended we re-home one of our fur babies! 😡) we were determined to find better and we did! With what Mike he has taught us, we have been able to maintain a calm, cooperative, loving relationship amongst all 4 of our 50-70 lbs rescues! We were even able to introduce a cat into the mix! There are not enough words to express our gratitude and there is not enough money in the world to establish his value. He is quite simply the best at what he does and we are very fortunate to have him as our go-to for all things dog! Thank you, Mike!

My husband and I have a mini Australian Shepherd that had high separation anxiety and did not listen to commands. From jumping on house guests and furniture to pulling on his leash to chasing after cars to establishing a lot of bad habits at home, we were beyond frustrated. Then, after having a baby, we knew we needed help! I did a Google search hoping to find a trainer. After researching many training programs, reading reviews and completing three different consultations, my husband and I went with Mike Harvey. Our mini Australian Shepherd stayed with him for a 2-week boarding program. During that time, Mike kindly communicated with me regularly regarding his progress. When our dog came home, we were amazed by his transformation. He LISTENED . . . no longer jumping on us or the furniture, coming on command, staying in place, etc. He is a JOY to have! My in-laws have even commented on how impressed they are with his change of behavior. I would highly recommend Mike Harvey (aka: The K9 Coach) to anyone in need of a dog trainer!
