The K9 Consultant

I have two friends who went through K9 Consultant, which was how I ended up choosing to put our dog there. The day before our dog was supposed to get picked up, my husband asked me to back out because he realized how much he would miss her and was getting all kinds of anxieties. Mickey called and was able to talk to my husband and it put him at ease. We got updates with pictures every single day. I could tell our girl was having the time of her life over there! On pick up day, we went to the new facility. Jeremie taught us both how to communicate with our Looney based on the training that she received. Our girl had a lot of problems with excessive barking, not the best manners on a leash - not the worst, but not the best, guarding toys/food from our other dog randomly, and just overall random craziness. We haven’t been able to take her out to walk yet because of all the excessive heat warnings, but Jeremie had us practice with her inside the facility. I was amazed at how well she was doing even with all of the distractions happening in the room - dogs getting bathed, hairdryers going, etc. Not to mention, she was able to get some wonderful socialization while she was there. At home, I can finally sit next to my husband on the couch without her yelling at me! She seems like a calmer dog just overall since she’s been home. We can’t wait for it to cool down so we can sit with her outside at our favorite weekly restaurant!

We sent our micro sheepadoodle to Jeremie. She was already such a sweet girl and had her basics down but we didn’t have the extra time to work with her like we wanted. Jeremie was wonderful with communication before during and after. My kids loved seeing the daily pictures he would send and she always looked so happy. He genuinely seemed like he cared about our girl. One of my biggest fears sending her to training was that her sweet spirit would be broken especially since she is a pet for for my two young children. Not only did she come back just as sweet she had more restraint and better listening skills! Thanks Jeremie and K9 consultants!

I’m way overdue for this review but I love the K9 consultant!! Mickey is amazing!! My dog just loved him. They’re so friendly and take their time to sit down and explain everything. I had issues with my dog not listening a few months after training and they made time to make another visit within a couple days! They went over everything again and it was like my dog just got out of training all over again! They also send daily updates with pictures and I loved that. I would recommend them to anyone!
