The K9 Training Academy

I would highly recommend the K9 training academy. Our nationwide escape artist “Gypsy” a 3 year old extremely stubborn diva pit bull was the biggest mission I think the crew at the academy ever had to deal with! Trust me, we had little hope that the pattern and behavior could ever be improved. We thought we were just stuck dealing with it, but the academy proved that even the worst case possible, there’s always correction and providing that to Gypsy was the greatest gift to our family, and our Gypsy. Thank you guys, she’s a different dog entirely now surrounded by love and remains loyal and obedient.

Best board and training program in Florida! My dobie Kaiser started showing aggression signs at 4 mo, once he reached 6mo he was out of control. I followed positive reinforcement only since he was 2mo as suggested per his first trainer and it did not work for him. Every walk, car ride, etc was a dangerous anxiety filled struggle. Incessant barking and lunging at everyone, neighbors were giving me a hard time, everyone was scared of him. Kaiser couldn't even hear or see anyone from the window inside the house or he would lose it. I found K9 training on google and got in touch w Richard to set a start date. Fast fwd 1 month later and Kaiser is a diff dog! He's calmer and happier! Richard would quickly respond to any concerns I had while Kaiser was in training and I'm happy to say I get to keep my dog thanks to him and his staff. Boarding might b costly but the peace of mind i have now is priceless so thank you Richard! Losing my dog would have affected me greatly, he couldn't have been rehomed w this temperament and I know how this would have ended, had I not called the K9 training academy! Life saver!!

I found this academy when desperately searching for help with my 140lb rottweiler. He had started to show signs of aggression and with his size, it became a huge cause for concern. Richard and his team at The K9 Training Academy are awesome. From the first time I contacted them regarding services to the day they dropped my dog off I received nothing less than quality service. My pup Thanos is an 8 month old working German Shepard with a whole lot of energy. Because this was my first time owing a Shepard, I was unaware of his energy level and was a bit overwhelmed. I contacted The K9 Training Academy with expectations that they could help tame Thanos with the appropriate training. After speaking with Richard, we decided to enroll Thanos in the combo obedience 1 and 2 training program. After only 1 week of training Thanos was able to follow the basic obedience commands!! I was totally impressed. Upon completion of the training program, Thanos was returned to me and had the obedience and temperament of a completely different Shepard. Not only was the training for Thanos awesome, the at home train the trainer session was great and now I can control Thanos with confidence!!
