Have known Amber for over 10 years. She is one of the most trustworthy humans I know. Dog Boarding & puppy socialization: Amber made plenty of time to allow my service dog prospect and myself to get comfortable in her kennel area (Far beyond our allotted appointment time). Amber has a wealth of experience and watching her evolve to be more humane, patient and knowledgeable trainer has been a pleasure. As a former trainer myself, I felt completely at ease knowing my puppy would have quality care and attention during his stay. The fact I can talk about reinforcement methods, genetics and tools with Amber and we always learn something new, shows me that she is truly invested in each dog and owner having a quality experience. Working alongside Amber during her journey to training her medical alert dog made the choice to get my prospect started off with her a no-brainer. Very grateful for Amber, her transparency and humility. It is especially comforting that she knows the goals and timelines I have for my medical prospect and she updates me often on where and how to meet these developmental markers. Amber is an incredible dog trainer. I reached out to her when I was in desperate need of help when my boy dogs began fighting and causing a lot of stress in the house. I heard from her immediately after reaching out. She listened and we had a game plan by the time we hung up the first phone call. Also, throughout this whole process, she was extremely kind and understanding. Some trainers make you feel awful for not doing the best job training your dogs and Amber never once makes you feel like you failed your dogs. She sets you up for success and is extremely supportive! A few weeks after our initial call my dogs were at her board and train program. Fast forward, both my boys are back home, and it is like night and day. My reactive dogs sit quietly as people walk by, or when people enter the house. We are able to go on walks that are enjoyable vs a game of tug of war and most importantly there is now a sense of calm back in the house. With the training that Amber provided, my boys are now able to be a part of our families everyday lives and we are forever grateful!
