Can a 2 year old yorkie poo be trained to use a pee pad? He does not seem to know what it is.
Hi Bobbie, Yes - we have housebreaking info on our website, click on drop down menu in upper right corner and one of the articles is Crate Training your puppy. For one month pretend your 2 year old is a 10 week old puppy and he should get on a schedule. It is a guideline and times shown of course change depending on your household routine. When we mention to take your pup outside - you would take your dog to the pee pad. It can be confusing for some dogs when you teach them to pee inside (some have a hard time distinguishing pee pad from rugs,etc in the home) and little dogs can learn to go outside too. We have had 2 Dobermans go through training with Richard and Carmen. Penny did their puppy imprinting program and Fenway is a graduate of the adult class. Richard is an amazing trainer with decades of experience. He will be up front with you about what you need to do for your dog. Carmen runs a tight ship and makes sure there's treats for everyone. They both love all dogs that come to them for training.

Richard and Carmen are great. Richard has a way with the dogs. He will correct a dog's behavior but does not believe in punishing a dog, instead emphasizes praising your dog. We went to the puppy class and the adult class with our dog. Highly recommend The Leash Connection.

My partner and I brought our 5 month old pup into The Leash Connection for the adult training class and it has CHANGED our lives. We were overwhelmed and confused by all of the information on the Internet and really needed structure to help our pup. Mr. Richard and Carmen love what they do and you can tell how passionate they are to help people have a good life with their dogs. Since training, my pup is more calm, and I look forward to continuing this training lifestyle.
