10/10 excellent dog training classes. Nancy Kelly is a delight to work with, and her Mannerly Dog classes are impeccably thought out and well-designed. I had never thought about taking an online dog training class beforehand, but the format works really well for helping your dog to learn to focus on you. You will get out of her class what you put in. She gives homework which is incredibly valuable to the work that you're doing in class, and it really makes a difference whether or not you make the time for you and your dog to practice. Nancy's knowledge shines through in everything she does as she explains the science behind the things that you do for class, and it works! She provides tons of resources in written and video format, and individual and group feedback. I absolutely would recommend her training classes!

Nancy is an amazing dog- and people-trainer. We were struggling because one of our dogs was not a fan of our toddler. Nancy taught us how to teach Dash where to be and encourage him to relax. This was going so well that we asked her help for other behaviors too - fence aggression with the neighbor dog, getting between my husband and I on the couch, growling when we sniffed something, etc. All of these behaviors have improved tremendously from where they were when we started. I am forever grateful to Nancy for her help. I cannot recommend her enough!

Nancy Kelly and The Mannerly Dog changed our lives! We adopted an almost 2-year old Doberman and wanted to make sure we were putting our best feet (paws) forward in his training. While we have had dogs all our lives, none have been "professionally" trained. Boy, did we not know what we didn't know!! Nancy's positive training style, knowledge and practical applications of everything she taught us will be used in our future with both Hank and all other pets. While we were miles away from Nancy (Houston - East Texas), we were able to meet with her each week via Zoom and convenient coaching calls as follow-up, promoting our "individual" training. My dog Tilly and I trained with Nancy over a long stretch of last year. Nancy was incredibly helpful to make Tilly overcome some of her problems, and supported me in understanding better how to handle her. I found her model of having a class, having we practice, send a video and meet with her to review the video and understand what needed to be corrected, super helpful. Both Tilly and I learned a lot and in fact I recommended Nancy to other friends facing similar problems.
