The Modern K9 dog training

Corey is an excellent dog trainer. Our dog Charlie was very hard to deal with and never used to listen. Corey changed all that! When we got our dog back after the 2 week program, it was like having a new member of the family. He listens, goes to his place, and even allows us to take him for a walk on a leash. Our 2+ year old German shepherd rescue, Freya, stayed with Corey for a four week board and train. As a rescue, she needed structured training to gain confidence, learn to walk without pulling on leash, basic family manners, like no jumping and how to meet other people and dogs. Corey was patient with Freya’s initial anxiety, working to establish trust. He stayed in contact with us throughout and our 1:1 lessons were great. Corey was patient with Freya’s human, too. His knowledge of working dogs helped tremendously, as he had tips for us to keep moving forward in progress once home. Freya is walking in a loose leash next to me, loves her “place”, meets others calmly and we are working on new things each day. Definitely worth it! Thank you!

Our 2.5 year old Doberman Luna struggled with resource guarding/overall lack of confidence and recently attended the 2 week board and train at the Modern K9. Corey was awesome throughout the entire process! We had two phone calls before sending her where he really put my mind at ease and reassured me that he could help us.
