I don't even know where to start. Christy and staff have been utterly amazing. They are so kind and fun to work with. They are incredibly patient with both the animals and the owner. You can clearly see how they love what they do. Christy's passion for working with reactive dogs shines through. We adopted our dog from Korea and through the move, she completely lost her confidence and became reactive. With The Motivated Mutt's help, we can now help our dog manage her big feelings. She and our cat now co-exist in the same spaces. I can now take our dog into a crowded vet office and using the skills that Christy taught me, help her get through the visit with minimal barking/lunging. Christy was also kind enough to ensure that we could be included in group classes by managing our dog's triggers. I could have cried because I didn't think that we would ever be able to do a group class. The best part? All of this has been done completely force free. It was essential to me that any trainer we worked with have positive reinforcement and be aversion free at its core. Christy does this and makes it look easy. Her knowledge in regard to canine behavior has helped my relationship grow with our pup. I honestly cannot say enough good things about The Motivated Mutt.

I can’t recommend The Motivated Mutt highly enough! We have an anxious dog who has made so much progress with their help. Christy took time to really get to know us and our home life, as well as to know each of our dogs to develop the best training plan for our needs. Our relationship with our dogs has become much more trusting and deeper, the behaviors we were looking to manage have been dramatically improved, and we are overall understanding each other better with the skills our whole family has learned. When we get to a place where we feel we need a refresher, we have a solid foundation to gain our footing quickly again with the skill set we have built. The Motivated Mutt has changed the way I view dog training forever. Our dogs are under our control through a genuine and positive mutual relationship, not fear or force, and it’s a significantly better relationship as a whole. The love, education, and passion they bring into every interaction has truly made all the difference, and I feel we are all set up for success!
