The Noble Dogs

I originally started training with Grant at Nobel Dogs when my dog was just a puppy, focusing mostly on leash walking and off-leash work. Thanks to his training, my dog is now completely off-leash trained—we regularly walk around with zero issues. I actually wrote a previous review that goes more in depth on that experience. More recently, I’ve taken advantage of Grant’s group classes and his continued support, and it’s made such a difference. I play ultimate frisbee, and my dog used to really struggle being on the tie-out without me —whining, crying, pulling, and needing constant attention from my teammates just to settle her down. Grant went above and beyond—he literally came out to one of my games to work with her in that exact environment. After just that one session and a follow-up group class, the transformation has been incredible. Now she will sit through an entire game quietly, laying down calmly and just hanging out off leash without any issues. Thank you for the continued support and follow-up, Grant. He truly means it when he says he’s committed to the dog, and it shows in the results!!

After 3 months working with Grant, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. I had a lot of trauma from my previous dog, a pitbull. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong trainer at the time, and the experience didn’t go well. My previous dog was never able to interact with other dogs or go to places like dog parks or the beach. Because of that experience, I was very nervous starting again. We started working with Grant when Stella was just 1 month old, and from the very beginning he was confident, patient, and persistent. Now Stella is only 4 months old and the results are incredible. She heels perfectly, has great house manners, and we’re already starting to work on off-leash walking. At just 4 months! Grant is also incredibly responsive. Anytime I text him, he usually answers within 30 minutes. I really appreciate how committed he is to helping his clients succeed. We had a wonderful experience working with Grant. He is extremely knowledgeable and clearly has a deep understanding of dog behavior. From the very beginning, Grant took the time to get to know our dog and explain the reasoning behind the techniques he recommended, which made it much easier for us to stay consistent at home. He gave us practical, easy-to-follow recommendations for things like managing greetings, improving leash behavior, and building better communication with our dog. One of the biggest improvements we've seen is when guests arrive—our dog is noticeably calmer and able to settle instead of getting overly excited.
