I truly don’t know what we would do without The Northern Boarder dog training and Adam. We unexpectedly moved to PA this year and our first priority was finding a dog trainer we could trust and that’s exactly what we found. We have a working breed European Doberman that requires a high level of care, attention, and training and they are always able to provide just that. Doozie says thank you Uncle Adam!

After adopting a new rescue who was showing some reactivity, I called The Northern Border and Adam was happy to meet with me that weekend, spent a lot of time walking me through training exercises I could do to help work on my dogs reactivity. At that point I also booked boarding with them for multiple trips. Fast forward to now 5 months later and I signed my dog up for a 3 week board and train and we’ve had multiple boarding sessions due to travel. I’m always confident that my dog is treated well and know that Adam is keeping an eye on him. One of the issues we were having was reactivity on leash to other dogs and after the board and train we walked into the vet the other day and a dog was in the reception area and my dog had no reaction and listened to me while we checked in. It was a huge difference from when he first came to me. Adam was able to take everything my dog and I had been working on and help him become a more confident and responsive dog in situations he’s unsure of, which is something we’d been struggling to do. We will continue boarding there and even signed up for obedience class.
