I've known the owners, Katie and Joeri for over a year now. I have taken my dog to them for boarding even before this new kennel was built. I love my dog like my child and I would trust her with no one else! They treat her like she was one of there own. They dedicate their lives to dogs, dog training and healthy, responsible breeding. They have helped train and help me train my dog and I would recommend using them for boarding and training to anyone I know. They are honest, kind, and wonderful people on top of their incredible knowledge of dogs and dog behavior. I know they have many clients like me that will only take their dogs to them for boarding due to the quality of care and the very reasonable price to board in this beautiful new facility!

My dogs LOVED this place.Although I live in Missouri I was passing through the area and needed to spend some time in the area but had my dogs with me. I googled dog training and found The Northern Border Kennels. Joeri was so helpful with some issues I was having with one of my dogs. I was so impressed with his knowledge of dogs. Although my issues with my dog was just basic stuff, I could tell he and his wife were super into the dog competition thing yet he didnt make me feel it was beneath him to help me deal with my dog. Katie breeds dobermans and they are gorgeous! Joeri breeds german shepherds. He taught these dogs to do some amazing stuff!

My dogs have been here several times and they love it! The Kennel is a beautiful facility and it is super clean! Everything is state of the art. This summer my dogs stayed there and enjoyed the super cool air conditioned building but could use the doggy doors to go outside when they needed to. The play areas are huge and the dogs have a blast. The care the dogs get is awesome. My dogs don't seem to miss me at all. Which is what you want when you have to be away from them. I highly recommend boarding your dogs at this gorgeous facility! Plus the training is world class! Thank you Joerie and Katie for all of your training help.
