10/10 experience! The Pawsitive Paw cared for our Redbone Coonhound puppy for five days and truly exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we dropped him off, Courtney took the time to thoughtfully discuss his personality, needs, and routines, which immediately put us at ease. When we picked him up, she provided detailed feedback, helpful guidance, and even offered support with scent work training. Our boy came home happy, confident, and in the best spirits … it was so clear he was genuinely loved and well cared for during his stay. We are beyond grateful for the attention, expertise, and heart they pour into what they do. I cannot recommend The Pawsitive Paw highly enough.

Courtney is absolutely amazing in all that she does. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, loving, sincere, educated, and truly cares for both the dogs and their owners. She makes sure you walk away with success. I love how she sends updates throughout the day, and does a great video and email recap after training sessions. This is so helpful to go back and revisit the learning for the future. I cannot say enough great things about Courtney.

We could not be happier with our experience with Courtney. From the very first session, it was clear that she is a supportive and non-judgmental dog trainer. She took the time to listen to our issues and goals, as well as understand our lifestyle, and then tailored the training specifically to meet our needs. Our dog, a 3-year-old reactive shepherd, had been a challenge for us. We felt lost and confused about how to help him, but Courtney provided us with the tools, resources, and unwavering support we needed. We have been sending our dog to her for day training sessions, and she always takes time to meet at the beginning to check in and at the end to discuss the day’s training, answer any questions, and ensure we are confident in continuing the training at home. In addition to all of that, she sends detailed emails with recaps and homework, which make it easy for us to stay on track and measure our progress. Courtney stands out due to her exceptional dedication and willingness to go the extra mile. She is always willing to review videos of our training and provide valuable feedback or answer any questions if something comes up that we do not know how to navigate, ensuring that we are on the right path. It's evident that she is truly in it to help strengthen the owner and dog relationship. Thanks to Courtney, we now feel confident and capable of training our shepherd on our own, knowing we have her support and guidance whenever we need it. And, of course, we plan to continue working with her to further our learning, strengthen our bond with our dog, and give him the best life possible!
