Services offered: Early puppy socialization training, adult dog training, dog walking, leash training, agility training and scent work. Available by phone/video or in-person. Early Puppy Socialization for puppies and their families prevents behavior problems down the road. I teach families how to preserve the human-canine bond by interacting with their puppy in the healthiest way which is through nurturance, protection and guidance and involves zero corrections and zero punishment. This training method promotes secure attachment through relationship, trust, fairness, compassion, and the oxytocin feedback loop between humans and their dogs.

I provide in-home/in-person gentle, positive reinforcement Dog Training and Early Puppy Socialization in the Carmichael/Sacramento region. My desire is to enable you and/or your family enjoy your pet and have a happy life. Individualized Dog Training is available at your home or other preferred location where you most interact with your dog. My training method uses science-based, behavior modification approaches to encourage and/or reward desired behaviors from your dog. I actively include you and/or your whole family in the training so you can learn and practice how to effectively interact with your dog to promote the actions and behaviors you want and thus enjoy having your pet as part of your family. Telephone training appointments, lasting approximately 30 minutes to an hour, are also available. I can not begin to say enough positive things about The Pet Agency, Michelle and her staff! Her exercise and socialization sessions for dogs are the best and perhaps the only of this kind in town! Michelle picks of my dog, Bishop, 3 days a week for long walks by the river and fun play dates where he gets to hang out with his pack of friends in a safe, nonstressful enviornment. Michelle has been taking Bishop out on a regular basis for the past two years and my once puppy is now a well ballance, social and happy adult dog. I trust Michelle and her staff %100 and appriciate her dedication and passion she has for all dogs and her job! Larissa

Michelle and her associates in her pet care business have been wonderful caretakers for my dogs! It is hard to imagine a better group of "dog nannys" (my term). Michelle became my dog walker and doggie care giver a number of years ago when I needed a new helper for my multiple mastiff household. She was dog walker, groomer, and house sitter for a number of years and has more recently added several associates to her group as her time is increasingly taken up by dog training at which she is VERY skilled. Anne and Silvia have worked extensively with my dogs. Both of them are great! They are hard working, meticulous, utterly trustworthy and dependable. Both have great empathy for the dogs and are excellent observers as well. They have often pointed out issues that I had not yet noticed about one or another of the dogs. I could not ask for any better care for my dogs. I would give each of them my highest recommendation!

They do training, walking, pet sitting, and even bathing/grooming. Talk about a full service operation! Besides the owner Michelle, Anne and Sylvia are also awesome. Dogs know people & these ladies are something special. I have a very active dominate dog & I would have given up & thrown in the towel with out the Pet Agency. It doesn't get any better than this! Woof! :)
Michelle is very responsible and dependable, but the best part is that my dogs love her. They are always happy to go for a walk, dog play group or overnight stay with Michelle. And, they come back better behaved because of the positive training Michelle does with them. The Pet Agency offers a variety of services and we have been happy with all that we've tried.
