Melanie worked wonders with our boy, Cooper! We were referred to Melanie by a close friend and couldn’t be happier with her services. Not only is she attentive, caring, and super responsive but she also takes the time to get to know you and your pup. Cooper is extremely shy and was fearful of humans/dogs. Melanie not only worked with him on his on leash training but helped socialize him as well! I would recommend her to any and everyone.

We had a great experience with The Proper Canine Co. It's clear that Melanie is passionate about dog training, and the results we got with our 11 month old rescue over the two weeks were awesome. Melanie listened to our concerns and gave us the tools to help Calvin be a proper member of our family.

Jolene was a little much for me when I first got her (if you want a low energy dog do not get an Aussie). I truly believed she was just a menace. In just under a month with Melanie I had a new dog, turns out she was just bored and needed some direction (maybe both of us did)... Now I feel confident that my pup can be off leash and won't jump all over little children.. Thank you
