The Puppy Coach Dog Training

I had such a great experience working with Paula to train my 2 year old rescue dog! I’m amazed at how much progress Frankie made in five sessions. Paula provided easy to follow homework between visits, which helped me stay consistent with training. Frankie has improved so much walking on a leash, reactivity around other dogs, recall, etc. Initially, I was nervous my dog might be too old to start fresh with training, but Paula proved that’s not the case. She’s an excellent trainer and a great coach for pet parents. I highly recommend her!

Paula was wonderful to work with and we are so grateful that she was a part of our journey adopting our new little pup, Hank! Hank is a spirited Chihuahua terrier mix who suffered from some pretty bad separation anxiety when we first got him. Paula gave us the confidence to navigate the puppy stage and seamlessly integrate our new puppy into our family with our older dog and cat. She was also extremely helpful in coaching us on how to lean on our strengths and address our weaknesses when it came to being an authority figure for our puppy . I appreciated Paula’s approach. She slowly and gently addressed new topics and really kept a focus on our dog being allowed to be a dog. She helped us truly appreciate (and work with) his spirited and smart nature. I am so thankful to have reached out to Paula two months ago when my husband and I were at a loss for how to help our reactive dog, Junie. From the first consultation, I knew Paula was going to be a great fit for us! We went with a three-session package and were amazed by the results just after our first session. After that session, I was better able to understand how my leadership affects Junie and what will help set her up for success. We were given homework to work on in between sessions which gave us all the tools to be able to work with Junie on her reactivity, impulse control, commands, etc. My husband and I now feel like we have all the tools we need to keep setting our dogs up for success going forward. The best thing about Paula is that she truly cares about her clients and I love knowing she’s just a text/phone call away if we ever need any additional help in the future!

Paula is the very best!! We got our first dog and had no idea where to start with training. We reached out to Paula for help and she made things so easy for us! She is so knowledgeable and really focuses on giving dog parents the skills they need to raise a puppy. Since working with Paula, our sweet 6 month old golden has learned so many tricks, is great on a leash, sleeps through the night, and is 100% potty trained!! We are forever grateful for The Puppy Coach and we will definitely use Paula in the future when we get Boone a sibling!
