We adopted a 4.5 year old pug (Brody) just 1.5 weeks ago and wanted to get him integrated into our house and pack smoothly. We noticed his separation anxiety pretty quickly and some general fears/quirks about being picked up and going down stairs. Otherwise, he is well-behaved, house trained, walks well on leash and can sit. We reached out to the puppy school to help us with training right away so we could get him and our household started on the right path, support his learning and confidence building. After our first private in-home training yesterday and starting the behavior exercises Roo shared with us, we already observed changes with him as I left the house and had our first good night of sleep. I highly recommend The Puppy School of Fort Collins and starting training right away with your newly adopted dog - it will benefit you and your new dog.

Roo is the most amazing dog trainer, I could not recommend her enough! She is so good with my puppy, and has so much patience and empathy for puppy parents as well! My puppy, Coco was so anxious when I first scheduled with Roo, three weeks later he is a completely different puppy. Both Coco and I now enjoy going to our puppy kindergarten class, and Coco is making so many new puppy friends! I highly HIGHLY recommend her for your puppy training needs.
We recently got our first puppy and really wanted to work on socialization and basic skills. The Puppy School has been fantastic! Roo is incredibly knowledgeable and we just recommended her to another new puppy owner! Our puppy Hobbes has made new friends and learned a lot in a short amount of time (and we have, too).
