The Right Paw

I highly recommend The Right Paw for dog training. I started classes with my rescue puppy when she was 4 months old. We have been through Puppy Kindergarten, Grammar School, High School and we are now working on our Canine Good Citizen class. My dog gets excited every time she realizes we are going to class. Stephanie has been our trainer in every class and she is fantastic! Not only is she knowledgeable and great with the dogs, she keeps class fun for all of us. We have learned so much during our time at The Right Paw and often get compliments on how well my dog is behaved.

Beware. I had a horrible 10 day experience trying to sign up my pup. I had to literally beg these people to take my business regarding my 10 week old puppy. No one ever answers the telephone during business hours and after I left several messages, they eventually called black days later. After finally speaking with someone, it seemed like I was inconveniencing her and she directed me towards the website in order to sign up and complete the registration process. However, the website isn’t user-friendly at all and after I submitted my credit card information no confirmation was ever sent to my email nor was my bank ever notified so therefore, the transaction never went through. I asked if I could pay through the phone or visit in person and still no reply!! This game of phone tag and going back-and-forth is very much a nuisance and also, I can’t understand why such a reputable company as this cannot give me the proper help.

Jen is a great trainer. Did a great job training our rescue dog who was anxious around other dogs and new people. On our walks he would pull on his leash and go nuts if we saw a dog. We took him hiking recently and he walked by a out 30 dogs without issue. On our walks he now walks beside me with no pulling. Jen was very professional and had great suggestions. I would highly recommend her services.
