The owners/trainers of A Southern Dog have worked with my rescue shepherd/lab mix in both training and boarding aspects. I’ve also had the pleasure of taking Luna to them for their special “Learn and Burn” sessions. Their home is a second home to my Luna and she absolutely loves her time spent there. Trina and Jeff are both professional, trustworthy, incredibly caring and nurturing individuals. Luna is bursting with energy and I was at the end of my rope post-adoption, when I was referred to them; they provided both Luna and I both with valuable skills and knowledge and she continues to flourish thanks to their training.
They run a top notch operation and I would highly recommend them for any training needs.

Jeff and Trina the owners have such a love for the dogs they work with! My pup has been over for “puppy play dates” and I plan on having him in for a training session soon as he is in his terrible teens. Ryder always enjoys going there! I highly recommend them. Seriously the best trainers in the area!

I left my crazy Owen for a week because I was going out of town for the weekend and left him an entire week for training. They sent me photos of Owen and videos of his training. They also printed out a sheet for me to continue his training at home and on how he did.
I have seen an improvement on Owen. I will definitely take him back especially because we travel a lot.
I felt safe leaving Owen there. Thank you for taking care of my baby 🤍

Trina and Jeff have been super helpful with our dogs we end up adopting from the Humane Society. They have given us helpful advice with socialization of our dogs.

They are amazing at what they do. They work very well with the owner and the dog that way your dog can successfully be trained even after they’ve left. Took my Belgian Malinois/ German Shepard there to get extra training done and was blown away at how awesome they were and how well my dog was. 10/10 would recommend and my dog loves going over there to see them whenever we have to leave town
