The Spot 4 Dogs

I wasn’t going to ever leave a review on the Spot4dogs because I totally regret ever paying thousands of dollars for them to train my Frejya. But I sent a message from Jake asking if I would. So here it goes. We paid up front for the off leash training. After the first week I had to ask why my dog is slobbery, hot and dirty to the point I have to bathe her everyday. I was told from playing. I was under the impression she was with her trainer until 4:30 everyday. Whom I still hadn’t met yet. And I picked her up on time. So right away I expressed how unhappy I was that she wasn’t with her trainer like I was told. She was put in the dog daycare. After the first week my dog didn’t want to go inside anymore. The lady at the front desk never greeted us with a smile and a good morning. I also complained about the lack of customer service when in the third week I was asked again what my dogs name was. Around the 5th week after I was promised from the owner that she would be taken care of and I would start being greeted better as a customer. I noticed a big bump on my dogs back and asked them if she was hurt at all. Of course they said no that it had to be a growth of some kind. I disagreed because she didn’t have it prior. So of course I took her to our vet and he confirmed it was an injury and that her hip also pops out of place. He thought it was hip displacia which would require surgery to repair. He also confirmed to me because of this that I couldn’t breed her. So later that year I had her fixed. Because he wanted her to have another heat first. The bump on her back healed and when I took her back for her yearly her hip was also healed. So it was a good thing he didn’t want to rush the surgery. His conclusion was she did suffer from an injury. My conclusion is it happened at Spot4dogs. So I wouldn’t refer anyone to them. They are way over priced and don’t spend the time they are supposed to training. They just put them in the daycare with the other dogs. Don’t go there

We picked up our 7 year old Border Collie today. She looked happy, healthy and well-trained. She did everything Jason commanded even while being so happy to see us. I know it was hard for her to contain her zoomies! Jason explained to us how to continue her training at home. Verbal and written instructions were given to us. We are very happy to have her home and willing to do the work. Thank you to Jason and all his staff. PS: The training center was clean, well maintained and comfortable for my dog. Excellent service!

Jake and Jason are phenomenal trainers that taught our two boys, Tuukka and Rugger on how to be model citizens! I can’t begin to say how much of a relief it is to be able to bring your dogs somewhere and know they’ll behave and not hesitant with commands. Wonderful, dedicated and the most caring trainers we’ve ever worked with. They get results and genuinely care about a dogs mental health! Great guys! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!
