The Stellar Dog is the sole ownership of Megan Sartori. The Stellar Dog exists to offer quality care and professional dog training for pets and their owners in the greater Austin, TX area. The Stellar Dog serves the Central Texas areas of North Austin, Northwest Austin, and the cities of Cedar Park, Volente and Leander. The Stellar Dog serves the communities at Canyon Creek, Crystal Falls, The Domain, Four Points, River Place, Steiner Ranch and Brushy Creek. The Stellar Dog specializes in private training and day training for puppies and dogs of all ages. Services include basic obedience and manners training, service dog training and behavior modification for serious issues such as reactivity, fear and aggression.

The All Star program is more comprehensive and your dog will learn several more behaviors. Your dog will be easy to control both inside and outside of your home. You also get the added bonus of email support for 4 months after we’ve finished the training sessions. This way you can feel free to contact me with any questions or issues that come up therefore ensuring the best possible outcome!
The Ultimate Foundation is, well, the ultimate! It is the most comprehensive program and the results are pretty amazing. It consists of a combination of day training sessions, where I work with your dog solo to get the training on board more quickly, plus private sessions where we work together so you know what your dog knows. Your dog will respond to cues, be a pleasure to walk, and shine as an important member of your family. You receive unlimited email and phone support for six months after we’ve finished the training sessions. That’s right, a trainer on hand to answer your questions and problem solve while your dog is perfecting its newly acquired behaviors!

Train your own Service Dog under the guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced service dog trainer. To enroll in our service dog program you must have a diagnosed disability, and a willingness to work hard with your dog to reach your goals as a team. Service dog training is not easy, but it can be incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to spend time every day working with your dog. During the Initial Consultation dogs will be evaluated for their suitability for Service Dog work and individuals will be interviewed in order to assess their needs. A Public Access Test will be performed at the conclusion of training. Limited training slots available.

Wow! Megan made an incredible impact on the positive behavior of our little pups. Megan was up front with us about the challenges ahead as we adopted two puppies from the same litter. Megan was so incredible and kept things simple to help us promote the right behavior in our dogs. Fast forward from 5 months ago to now, we have different dogs than before in all the best ways. They are calmer, more respectful of one another, better walking companions, and they listen….mostly ;). Megan also helped us with socializing with humans and other dogs. Gone are the days of pulling and lunging toward other dogs and people. Rather than jumping we have calmer sits and wiggles. We can’t thank Megan enough for giving us all the right tools to make our pups calmer, happier, and independent from each other.

Megan has the patience of a saint for both dogs and their humans. We have an older puppy that cam to us with some bad habits, and she gave us all the tools to train and love our dog the best. That's the key to her training is she gave US the tools! We can continue to use the tools with this puppy and our other dogs to have the best dogs for us. I think my favorite part of Megan's training style is she always has multiple strategies for how to work with a dog that will make that dog the most successful. It's not a one size fits all model. Highly Highly Recommend her services. Well worth the price!!

I highly recommend Megan Sartori/The Stellar Dog if you and your pup need training. She worked my heeler, Ringo, and he made progress with each and every session, including the consultation! Megan is awesome at what she does and clearly loves animals. She was also great with training me - because a lot of times we need just as much training as the pups, maybe more. She taught me how to recognize signals Ringo was giving me and how to not react but respond in a way that would communicate the right message to Ringo. We are both more confident and in sync with each other, and Ringo's confidence has greatly improved and reactivity SIGNIFICANTLY decreased! I am pumped about it and very grateful to Megan!
