The Stellar Dog is the sole ownership of Megan Sartori. The Stellar Dog exists to offer quality care and professional dog training for pets and their owners in the greater Austin, TX area. The Stellar Dog serves the Central Texas areas of North Austin, Northwest Austin, and the cities of Cedar Park, Volente and Leander. The Stellar Dog serves the communities at Canyon Creek, Crystal Falls, The Domain, Four Points, River Place, Steiner Ranch and Brushy Creek. The Stellar Dog specializes in private training and day training for puppies and dogs of all ages. Services include basic obedience and manners training, service dog training and behavior modification for serious issues such as reactivity, fear and aggression.

The All Star program is more comprehensive and your dog will learn several more behaviors. Your dog will be easy to control both inside and outside of your home. You also get the added bonus of email support for 4 months after we’ve finished the training sessions. This way you can feel free to contact me with any questions or issues that come up therefore ensuring the best possible outcome!
The Ultimate Foundation is, well, the ultimate! It is the most comprehensive program and the results are pretty amazing. It consists of a combination of day training sessions, where I work with your dog solo to get the training on board more quickly, plus private sessions where we work together so you know what your dog knows. Your dog will respond to cues, be a pleasure to walk, and shine as an important member of your family. You receive unlimited email and phone support for six months after we’ve finished the training sessions. That’s right, a trainer on hand to answer your questions and problem solve while your dog is perfecting its newly acquired behaviors!

Train your own Service Dog under the guidance of a knowledgeable and experienced service dog trainer. To enroll in our service dog program you must have a diagnosed disability, and a willingness to work hard with your dog to reach your goals as a team. Service dog training is not easy, but it can be incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to spend time every day working with your dog. During the Initial Consultation dogs will be evaluated for their suitability for Service Dog work and individuals will be interviewed in order to assess their needs. A Public Access Test will be performed at the conclusion of training. Limited training slots available.

I met Meghan at Tomlinson's last Saturday. She must have overheard me talking about my Aussiedoodle who is a very pick eater. Meghan introduced herself and started giving me some advice on how to train my dog instead of vice versa. She was spot on and spent what seemed like half an hour with me. She didn't have to spend that amount of time and could have just said call me for training. Her no nonsense but truly compassionate approach combined with her obvious love for animals is endearing and so much appreciated. We will be calling her for training in the future.

Megan is very reliable and flexible in scheduling. Extremely knowledgeable and customizes her approach to your dog specific needs. Our dog was house trained when we adopted her, and very friendly, silly, loving and playful, however she struggled with walks on the leash and very anxious with meeting new people and animals. After the ‘Jump Start’ program with Stellar Dog, she is doing much better. She pulls on the leash much less and has improved significantly with meeting and greeting new people and animals. I highly recommend The Stellar Dog.

We unexpectedly acquired a super inquisitive, energetic 8 month or so old GSD puppy. It was basically like bringing a pony into the house. Our other dog had our family of 5 to herself for 6 yrs, so she was not having it. Then our 2 cats went into crisis mode and make-shift barriers had to be put up all over to separate them all. I was in way over my head. I found Megan through some research and to say she saved the day is a massive understatement! Within 4 visits, lots of email reinforcement, and much patience (with us) we now have 4 pets who all like each other and all our furniture is now back in its place :) All I can say is DON"T GIVE UP-but you can't do it on your own. Having someone who truly understands the dogs brain and behaviours, as well as breed differences that then can teach YOU these things makes all the difference.

Loved our time with Megan at Stellar Dog. We have a VERY large and fast growing pup (he’s a Saint Bernard) so training him well is important to us! Megan was always positive and broke training down into easy steps that work! My son took on much of the responsibility and the dog always listens to his commands. I would recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a trainer! Our furball is a very well behaved guy because of her!
