We had a great experience with Matt. Our dog was a challenge as she is very “enthusiastic” and meets new people with great excitement. Some might say she was out of control. The training provided by Matt has solved our issues and we now have a mostly well-behaved Golden Retriever puppy. She no longer pulls on the leash which is a huge relief. I’m a dog handler and pet service provider. When people tell me their dog has been trained by Matt White I immediately put them at the top of my list for customers to take on. There are allot of trainers in New England but non that have his track record of putting out only the most attentive dogs out there! Yes he may be tough on you but never on the dog. Yes he is a stickler about protocols and appointments times but that is because he runs his business like a well oiled machine. If you’re fortunate enough for him to take you on as a customer thank your lucky stars because their work is unsurpassed and your dog will have absolutely the best training available. You haven’t seen a well trained dog until you’ve seen one of Matt’s dogs!!

Made an appointment for three week training and boarding for our dog with Matt due to a health issue and needed time to recover. Brought the dog in the week before to meet Matt and agree to the details. The morning we were to drop the dog off I received a text saying he can't take the dog and try next week. Texted him back saying I found his canceling last minute unprofessional and I would share my experience with others, and he responded "I will put that on the list of things I just don't care about". It was difficult to find a last minute boarding for my dog where I felt he would be safe and cared for but I have to admit I felt great relief that I didn't leave my dog with this guy after receiving his text.
