The Training Retreat by Barks and Recreation

My 4 year old dog and I just finished training with Always Faithful Dog Training of Evansville and our experience was great. My dog had previously gone through training when we first adopted her 3 years ago. She was pretty attentive and knew what she was supposed to do. I wanted more control when off-leash as well as confidence she would come when called and respond even in high-distraction situations. Many training techniques involve treats or other gimmicks. While my dog is very much food-driven, that isn't always going to work in the real world. The training from Always Faithful Dog Training relies on you being the leader and the dog understanding their role. Jenn & Mike were always positive and had good techniques and instructions that worked very well for us. They were flexible in scheduling and you always felt they were your main focus. I would highly recommend anyone needing training, from basic to advanced, to give them a call. They know what they are doing and love the dogs they are working with. I know I can rely on their support.

Jennifer and Mike were excellent. They were consistent, reassuring, and available. We adopted our Pup from a Shelter, breed unknown although large... we had no prior experience with large breed dogs. There was a brief period of time when we thought we had made a mistake, that maybe we weren’t the right people for our Pup, but with their training program and consistency, time and patience, we learned how to be the right people for our Pup.
