FirstBarkWe needed help with our rescue pitbull. He was so hard to walk pulling us everywhere! Melissa come to our house and worked with him! Today was first day I walked him without being pulled around! I am not sure what kinda magic she used but it was life changing for us! I had my first no pull enjoyable walk and I couldn't be happier with the training!

Melissa is an amazing trainer. I learned so much from our two hours together. Everything makes so much more sense now and I can read my dogs much better too. I was focusing on obedience instead of a calmly behaving dog. When she explained that process to me, things clicked and my pups responded very differently. I have homework assignments that are easy to follow and incorporate into my dogs normal activities. I am excited about the progress I saw today and look forward to whatever lessons we learn next time. I would highly recommend her for any type of dog training situation. She is calm, gentle, yet firm in her approach. She is passionate about teaching you how to help your dog be the best pup they can. And she explains things in a way that makes so much more sense! It’s like getting a translation kit for my dogs language.
Melissa is a wonderful trainer. She has gotten my mastiff to stop pulling, lunging for the door and being a nervous pup. She has taught Mom and Dad in the process as well. Melissa knows how dogs think and react. She helped us understand how to be better dog owners and how to help my dog be better behaved. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could.
LIFE CHANGING for myself & my 5 yr old Boston Otis! I consider myself a knowledgeable pet owner. I found myself using drugs to try to help my dog with his horrible behavior and I felt like I failed, but had no choice. 1 session with Missy changed it ALL. Melanie came to my home and worked with Toby and me to overcome his negative reaction to certain dogs. She explained that I was letting Toby be the leader and we needed to correct that. We worked together for two hours and Toby is now under control. It was me learning how to handle Toby and we now seem to have him under control. At the end of our session we had one of the dogs that Toby had been aggressive toward walk by us three times and Toby stayed calm and by my side. Melanie has checked in with us several times to make sure all is going well. Thankfully it is. She is very calm, has wonderful insight as to what is needed and a real pleasure to have as a trainer.
