The Wayward Canine

Just when I was about to give up on my puppy I brought Paco to The Wayward Canine. Paco wasn’t a bad dog, I was a bad owner. I had no clue what i was doing and relied way to much on the internet. They listened to the issues I was having and my concerns. I enrolled Paco in the puppy training with boarding and within weeks he was fully crate trained fully house broken and bad habits were gone. They also took the time to educate me and what’s best for my dog. I was able to take what they taught me and applied it to everyday life at home. Josh and his team are the legit dog whisperers. I trust them so much. There is no one I would leave my Paco with. In fact he’s going back for leash training.

Where to begin... Alyssa and Josh have been beyond amazing. I made the crazy decision to get a Belgian malinois. (No regrets) Not knowing what I was getting myself into...I happen to cross paths with Alyssa, She saw Lucah ( who was just 3 months at the time)and told me about wayward. I went in for a Thursday night bite work session and was amazed at how they worked their dogs. Wayward is more of a family then a daycare. You see the work and care they put into each and every dog. The happiness I see when lucah arrives, when he sees Alyssa, Josh and Ryan(the pee confirms it) is what I am grateful for. I am about to deploy overseas for quite a while and I have to leave my four legged friend behind. I mentioned to Alyssa about my situation and she offered to foster lucah, and for that I am beyond grateful. Knowing that lucah is going to be cared for, by people that I trust him with, is more then I could ever hope for. Lucah loves you guys, you’re his second family! With my crazy schedule, the wayward family has helped me out tremendously. They’ve boarded lucah last minute when I had to work weekends, kept him weeks when I had training, and even went out of their way to pick him up at home when I was working odd hours. I beyond recommend wayward ! If you’re looking for a place where your dog will be happy, cared for, loved, trained, and tired... wayward is the place to go.

The Wayward Canine has made our first dog-owning experience so much easier and more positive than we could've ever imagined. From 1 week of puppy training basics, to 2 week leash training, and now to 4 week off leash training, we cannot thank them enough for the love and care they showed to our puppy (and patience Josh and Alyssa showed in training us humans!). Being able to go on hikes with Walt off-leash gives him and us a freedom that is even more fun than we expected. We couldn't be happier or more appreciative. Thank you Wayward Canine!
