We guarantee that our private training sessions will assist you with improving the relationship between you & your furry friend. If you are not satisfied with the results of the private training, Jerry will not accept a fee!

When I first contacted Jerry, my family was on the verge of rehoming our whippet puppy. I had wanted a whippet for as long as I could remember and had done all the research to make sure I could give her the best home possible. Unfortunately, we hit a lot of bumps in the road. She was terrified of dogs and would react terribly. Jerry said he was ready for a challenge so we began training. Right away I felt more in control with his hands free slip harness system. Whippets are lightening fast runners and can easily wiggle out of their collar. Not a chance with this system. I worked with her daily to instill a calm positive association with other dogs. She still was not able to greet a stranger dog but was doing better walking past dogs. When Jerry brought her into his kennel for two nights I saw a dramatic change in my dog. He sent me videos of her progress each day. She was greeting all of the dogs there with zero reactivity. I was absolutely astounded to witness something I never thought possible. He was patient and cool as a cucumber while working hard to rehabilitate my terrified dog. I absolutely trust Jerry with my dog and all of our training needs. I recommend The Well Heeled Way to anyone having behavioral issues with their pets and/or seeking clean, safe, and attentive boarding services.

Jerry is amazing! Friendly and professional. I have a 6 month old Eskidoodle. High energy and unruly as puppies can be! I was not supposed to have my session with Jerry until end of November. I called him for some advice and he made time for me and “Poppy” within 2 days. Within 30 minutes of working with her I could see her transforming!! Unbelievable! Jerry knows his stuff! He is quick to get back with you for whatever questions you have. I highly recommend him! My little one is becoming a very mannerly little lady!

We were so lucky to find Jerry! Doing a session with him is like a complete course in training and behavior. You'll learn so much about how to work with and be at ease with your pet. And his attitude is the best. He truly loves and understands dogs. We also take our dog to him for boarding, and there is no where I feel as happy about leaving my dog. She interacts with other dogs and comes home happy, socialized, and better trained than when I left her.

Can’t say enough good things about Jerry and his care for our Golden Retriever. We have used Jerry multiple times and he continues to impress. It’s a great feeling to have someone care for your dog as their own. On top of that, our dog genuinely enjoys his stay.
