FirstBarkLauren worked wonders with our one year old silver lab. When she came home from her 30 day board and train Nova had learned and matured so much. We can now enjoy her in our lives and she’s a calm(er), confident member of the family. Nova loves Lauren so much, which is a huge testament to how Third Coast Canine is run. We are so thankful to have worked with Lauren.

We rescued Miles, our 1 1/2 year old Aussie Doodle with the understanding he would need some work. Turns out we all “needed some work”. Lauren is fantastic. She has a wonderful confidence and ability to empower both Miles and his people. Each of our six weeks of training has seen improvements. We have gone from dreading walks because we would be sore from all the pulling and tugging, to lovely walks. We continue to learn techniques to address our specific needs. In just six weeks we seem to have stopped behaviors like jumping on people, mouthing people, rough walks, and non responsiveness to simple instruction. We couldn’t be happier with what Lauren has taught ALL of us.

Lauren is an excellent dog trainer she had my GermanShepherd/Husky Mia for a month. Now she and I get complements everytime we go out she is very well behaved not only does she live up to everything her training regiment lays out she surpassed it with Mia when I went to pick her up she and Lauren went to say their goodbyes and Mia laid her head on Lauren's shoulder and I could tell Mia bonded with Lauren on a very serious level I absolutely recommend her. Our 11 month old Terrier mix Toby spent 10 days with Lauren at Third Coast Canine Academy the end of April. Our feisty little Toby had been pulling on leash, jumping when excited and exhibiting some mouthing behavior. Having learned our lesson with our previous dogs who were never properly trained, we knew we needed help working with Toby. We are so very glad we turned to Lauren who in 10 days worked her magic and corrected many of Toby’s behavior issues. Lauren also spent additional time working with us so that we might continue enforcing the good behaviors she has instilled. We felt very comfortable at all times entrusting Lauren with Toby’s training.
