Three Dimensional Dog Training

We Love The Three Dog Dimensional Training.. After 4 months of feeding a Ferrell Pit Bull in our woods we were able to catch him and get him the neutered, shots, bathed etc. We were not able to get him even on a leash or socialized. Aaron McDonald, trainer, worked with our Heinz and now he loves the leash and attention. Our 3 year old Grandson Ayden when asked, “who is your best friend?” “Heinzy” is always his answer. The sweetest….but we couldn’t have done it without training from The Three Dimensional Dog team. Highly recommend.

The McDonalds do it right: they train you to train your dog. So often somebody brings a dog to the trainer and says, “My dog is peeing all over the house, can you make him stop?” or “My dog barks constantly, you make him be quiet?” Which reminds me of people who, many years ago, would ask me, “Can the computer do A Fast Fourier Transform?” Well, the answer to both is the same “sure, if you program it properly!” A good trainer will work with you and your dog and using his/her knowledge of dog behavior and the human companion’s dedication. I worked with Aaron. He and my family engaged in private training at their place, in our home, and out in the world. We went to a dog park to understand the issues that our dog would have to deal with in that environment. We learned to not only control the dog, but to also socialize him, use the dog’s proclivity to want to please us for training desirable behavior, and how to keep our dog(s) safe. A year later I took my two Pit Bulls to Birmingham’s Do Dah Day, a dog and animal Festival in Birmingham and spend the day among thousands to dogs and people. My dogs behaved like champs: he was a perfect “gentleman” and she was gracious “lady.” Aaron and his trainers have outstanding communications skills, patience with dogs and their human companions and answer their clients’ questions with kindness and positivity. Changing a dog's behavior takes time, energy, and a lot of hard work. Aaron spent as much time as it takes to get things right without getting frustrated with the dog or with the owner. We were learning to train young dogs before any undesirable behavior had established, but I watched Aaron use very subtle training to eliminate a bad behavior and teach an owner how to effectively communicate with their dog. The people at McDonald’s have an unmitigated love of dogs. They are passionate about what they do and excel compared to those who do it for other reasons. The lessons you learn from the folks at McDonald Canine Academy will last you a lifetime. You can elevate your training of your dog(s) to any level you want it to. You can stop at the basics, or advance to hand signals and even “English.” If you want your dogs safe, you will want to advance to off-leash training. It’s the best investment of time, energy, and money I have ever spent.

My family worked with Aaron at Three Dimensional Dog Training 9 years ago when our golden retriever was a puppy. I have raved about the experience ever since and recommend Aaron and TDDT at every opportunity. Aaron is brilliant, calm, patient, and kind--always guiding so that we would always know what to do to ensure that our sweet but sometimes nervous girl is calm, secure, and enjoyable to others as well. She is a great member of the family, thanks to all that we learned from Aaron. His methods are practical, effective, and changed our entire thought process about dog training.
