Thurman's Place

We brought 2 of our fur babies for training. After meeting them at an event months prior to training I noticed that their dogs were well trained and when released Still had their Personalities. That was 1 of my biggest concerns - not losing their spunk - they did not disappoint. Of course, now that their home training is still continuing for us and our babies. If you're 2nd guessing yourself on whether to take them here or not .. Don't! You will be pleasantly surprised!

I sent my goldendoodle puppy to Thurman's place and he came back a new dog. Same sweet personality but so much more well-behaved! He used to dig in my yard, bark at neighbors, jump on people and trying to walk him was a nightmare. He pulled on the leash, criss-crossed back and forth, sniffing everywhere. He no longer does any of those things and when I take him on a walk, he walks right next to me, never pulling on leash. If I stop walking, his butt hits the floor and he waits patiently to walk until I start walking again. He stays on his "place" in our house until I give him permission to get off. Overall, he's a much happier dog and so much more manageable! I highly recommend Thurman's place. They truly love the dogs through leadership and have taught me to do the same!

I love my dogs but love doesn't mean they listen, or that you are doing what is best for them. My favorite activity is to walk my dog(s) but when they jump, pull, bark, or try to eat other dogs, it quickly turns into what times can I go walk that will avoid other dogs. This is no way to live. Thurman's Place has made me a better leader to my dogs, while giving them the skills to thrive in life. Everyone needs to have their dog, and themselves go through this program. Karen and her staff are professional, kind, caring, and do what is best for the dogs. Their facility is in the country, dogs get to be dogs and live their best life running around the woods and learning to be pack members.
