We adopted a 18 month old pitbull and hound mix who had spent almost a year in shelters. She had and has a lot and walking was one way we knew would tire her. Problem - aggressive reaction to anything moving, cars, bikes, etc. we have had dogs in the past and thought we could train her on our own. That was a mistake. While walking in a park we met a woman who saw how Emory reacted and told us she used Tim Miller for training. It was the best thing that we ever did. We needed to be trained to help our Emory become a much calmer dog. Going for walks is much better. The aggressive reaction to all things moving is improving slowly and surely. She loves to walk and meet new people and dogs. Her behavior has improved. Without Tim's help Emory would be limited to the backyard and house which wouldn't be fair. Tim is patient and comminicates well. The lesson plans that he gives after each visit are clear. I can't sing his praises enough.

We had the pleasure of working with Tim to train our Vizsla puppy, Dale, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Thanks to Tim, we now have a well-behaved, happy puppy who is a joy to be around. More importantly he gave us the tools to do the training with Dale. We can’t recommend Tim highly enough to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated dog trainer. Last summer we adopted a hound mix puppy who very quickly grew up to be a large puppy with large puppy behavior and a lot of enthusiasm! Although he’s a wonderful dog, and a great addition to our family, we needed some help in dealing with certain behaviors. We contacted Tim and had a very helpful consultation. We could see right away that he was knowledgeable, experienced, and perceptive. He’s a good listener and gives you all the time that you need, never being in a rush. Tim is very encouraging and patient. He’s very flexible, prompt, and communicates well. During the four sessions we had with him, Tim taught us many great strategies and tools that have really helped when it comes to dealing with and understanding dog behavior and the dynamics between our two dogs (as well as others on our paths).
