Tim Miller Dog Training LLC

We recently hired Tim to help train our 10 month old rescue. Tim came by for an initial assessment and provided his feedback on what would be helpful for the dog and an estimate of how many sessions that may take. Once we agreed to move ahead, Tim came by for three 1 hour sessions in our home. Tim always started our sessions by explaining what the goals were for that particular hour. He also asked if there was anything in particular we'd like to cover each time. Tim was great in thoroughly explaining each technique and the whys and hows of each one. He was fantastic with our two daughters, clearly understanding that teaching a 10 year old and 7 year old how to work with a dog is different from adults. He also came prepared with fun dog training related puzzles for the girls to work on. After each session, Tim also prepared a review document covering the strategies and techniques that were covered. He also provided a regimen for us to follow in order to successfully implement each skill/obedience command. He never rushed any of our sessions and probably spent over an hour with us each time. He also made it clear that we could call or text him anytime with any questions or concerns. In summary, we cannot say enough good things about Tim and his ability to train our dog. Everything he taught us worked, so long as we put in the proper amount of time to make it successful. He clearly has an understanding of dogs and we could not recommend him enough if you are looking for an at home trainer.
