I was looking for a trainer who works with dogs that have aggression issues, and found Jamaal and his team at Timeless K9. I am beyond grateful for all of their help with my dogs who had gotten into a few fights (both are large breed dogs). Jamaal had us come in for an evaluation, and quickly identified the issue and gave us his professional opinion and suggestions on how to proceed. I sent one of my dogs to a board and train program, and have been doing at home training sessions with my other pup. The difference has been night and day. When I was looking for a board-and-train program for my dog, I contacted six different places trying to find the best fit. When I first called Jamaal, I told him straight up that it was pretty sus that he had (at that time) 100 five-star reviews. I actually said the most suspicious part was that they were all five stars. His response?
“That’s what everyone tells me… and then they leave me a five-star review.” Spoiler: now I get it. To say Jamaal is committed to his clients would be a gross understatement. I’ve never known anyone who grinds as hard as he does. He has shown up for me and my dog again and again, helping us work through every behavioral challenge—wherever and however they show up. My dog is a rescue with a pretty serious trauma history. She has half a tail (not docked—something happened before I adopted her) and a bullet lodged in her pelvis. Her early experiences affected how she moved through the world. She struggled with reactivity and resource guarding, and she deeply believed that people were scary and it was her job to protect her family—me. It was hard to communicate with her that she didn’t need to carry that burden anymore. That I had her back. Jamaal helped me build that bridge. He helped me learn how to communicate with my dog in a way that made sense to her—and in doing so, changed both of our lives. When Jamaal trains your dog, he’s also training you. I thought I’d watched enough Instagram reels to know what I was doing, but the difference between DIY tips and working with a true professional is night and day. Jamaal got to know bothof us. He saw our dynamic clearly, and met us where we were. My pup went through a four-week board and train with him, and he’s continued to work with us since. He is now the only person I trust to board her when I travel. (He even took her once when she had explosive diarrhea—I mean, who does that?!) Jamaal’s impact has been profound. He’s helped reduce my dog’s reactivity and build her confidence. This past Fourth of July—for the first time in the five years I’ve had her—she didn’t panic or tremble all night. I’m certain that’s because of the trust, tools, and growth she’s gained through working with Jamaal and the Timeless K9 team. If you’re on the fence: don’t be. Jamaal is the real deal. Best place to board and train your dog , jamaal is so amazing and very professional guy , my dog sky is over 6 years old and have have aggressive behavior issues, I never thought I’d be able to get him out ever and we ever going to take any trip with family bcz someone from family always have to home with him can’t drop him anywhere cuz of his behavior, I was looking for someone who can help us with sky and not only we were able to take vacation whole family after so many years but results are amazing when we back to pick him up even jamaal help us some extra classes get him more better dog it was definitely life changing experience for me and my family and my fur baby , I just randomly picked timeless k9 for my sky for training one of the best decisions I ever made , great guy very professional knowledgeable , communicative, if you need any help with your dog for train or boarding this is the place to go its was definitely worth it, 😊🙏
