Tip Top K9 Dog Training The Woodlands

Mikal worked miracles with our little 1.5 year old rescue! We came to Tip Top K9 in hopes to get our pup more comfortable around strangers and children. Mikal addressed this by teaching her basic obedience skills such as recall, quiet/off, and placing her on command. By the end of the Board and Train we received a video of her coming on command to a 3 year old without barking or growling, which we never thought would have been possible! We’ve always been anxious about having people over and starting a family of our own - however through obedience training, we are now totally confident in our sweet girl. Mikal was responsive, professional, and addressed all of our needs while showing kindness and love to our baby. With ongoing practice we have no doubt that we have all the tools necessary to manage our pup’s behaviors. Could not recommend Mikal and his Tip Top team enough!

We can’t say enough good things about Mikal at Tip Top K9. Our 5 year old Boston, Amber, was a wild child. If someone came to the door she would go crazy barking then once the person came in she was all over them wanting to play. Trying to walk her was a nightmare. Even though she only weights 25 lbs, she would pull so hard on the leash that I would be exhausted just trying to walk her a block. We are moving into an apartment which has very strict rules regarding barking dogs so it was critical that she be trained right a way. We ordered a bark collar on line thinking that would help but it did not phase her. So after reading reviews on line from several trainers we decided to go with Tip Top K9 and we are so glad we did! I must admit I had a lot of reservations about using an e collar but Mikal patiently explained how it worked. We sent Amber to boot camp and the change in her is unbelievable. We highly recommend both Mikal and Tip Top K9.
