Tip Top K9 Myrtle Beach Dog Training

I have a 1 year old Saint Bernard, Bear, who's 150+ pounds. Before signing up, going for a walk was a battle. If anyone new would stop by, he would come barreling towards them to say hello, and I would have no control. When Oliver first met with us, Bear immediately took to him! In the first 5 minutes, Bear was already responding to commands. In just 1 week, he came home, and we are able to walk off leash, and he is listening to commands like "off" when he is getting into something he shouldn't be.

Absolutely, the best trainer anywhere! We have a rescue dog who had a difficult time meeting new people both in and out of the home. We had previously hired a different trainer but, it didn't do much to help with her anxiety. Fast forward a year with no progress we contacted Tip Top K9 and met with Oliver. We started working with Oliver toward the end of March and our sweet girl begin to show signs of significant improvement within the first two sessions. We just completed our final session and look forward to continuing her training on our own with all the tools and experience Oliver passed along. We will also attend the group classes that are offered on the weekends. The most important message I want to get across is that Oliver treated our dog with the upmost kindness and love possible. We observed him shower her with hugs and praise and she absolutely loves him. This is the same dog who previsously only allowed myself or husband to pet her or give her any affection.

Oliver is amazing! He is both knowledgable and engaging. I like that he keeps you informed with daily reports and videos. My German Shepherd was in his care for over a week. He came back a different dog. Stonewall was a rescue with some bad habits. His former owners had not trained him well. I did make improvements on my own, but needed help with issues I could not remedy. My husband and I cannot be more thankful to Oliver and the whole Tip Top team. From start to finish everything was phenomenal. The poor lady that answered my call initially was so patient with me as I frantically explained the situation with our dog, Harley. The call lasted close to 30 minutes if not longer and she was so attentive and actually cared about what I was saying. When Oliver showed up for our first meet and greet my husband and I were anxious as Harley generally doesn’t do well with unfamiliar faces. But, Oliver calmly made his way into our living room and within minutes Harley was wanting to play with him. We signed Harley up for the 7-10 day bootcamp which as all of you dog owners know is literally terrifying considering the horror stories that we have all heard about different places. However, we could tell that Oliver deeply cared for each and every dog he deals with just by watching how he was with Harley during that initial meeting. What took it a step further was that he wasn’t try to sell us on anything. He genuinely wanted to make sure that we signed up for the program that we were most comfortable with not the one that cost the most. On day of pick up, I was a HOT mess. My Harley boy was about to be away from us for the first time since we got him in January of ‘24. Oliver went through everything one last time and promised me that would care for Harley as if he were his own. Oliver even sent us pictures once they had arrived and Harley was settling in. During bootcamp we received several videos and pictures of his progress. On day 3 Harley was already getting the hang of the commands. My husband and I were in shock as we had been trying this for over a year with no luck. On Harley’s homecoming day, Oliver stayed at our house for well over an hour showing us everything Harley had learned and teaching us how to implement his training into our day to day routine. Harley was so well behaved when he got back that I jokingly asked if he performed an exorcism (but for real, the change was so drastic I would have believed him if he said yes lol). Harley was a sick puppy and was unable to socialize with other dogs due to his illness, the poor dog had a rough start to life and took us the whole first year of having him to find a vet that would listen and help us. Now that Harley is fully healed and (now) VERY well behaved, Harley is literally living his best life. We are so deeply appreciative to Oliver and anyone else who worked with Harley.
