Tip Top K9 Wichita Dog Training

I am beyond impressed with Coleman and his program at Tip Top K9. I’m not overreacting when I say that he has saved my sanity and my relationship with my dog. My corgi puppy Cooper is very sweet and social but VERY stubborn. I had been struggling for months trying to get him to listen and was so frustrated. He would never come inside when I needed him to, he was chewing all of my furniture and carpet and even the wall. He had started to resource guard in the last few months and was literally just running my house doing whatever he wanted. Coleman came to my house and took the time to listen to everything we were dealing with and worked with Cooper while he was here, explaining dog behaviors and different training methods and realistic training expectations. He was very professional and knowledgeable and I signed Cooper up for training that day. Coleman came and picked Cooper up for a two week boot camp while I went on a family vacation. I am always anxious about leaving my dog when I go out of town but Coleman put my worries at ease and promised he’d take the best care of my puppy. I got update emails and videos while Cooper was with Coleman and could not believe it was MY dog in the videos listening and following direction. Any questions I had while Cooper was with Coleman were answered quickly. Coleman was on time and kind and professional every time we saw him. When Coleman brought Cooper back, he took the time to make sure that the transition home was easy and fun and made sure I understood what I needed to do to continue Cooper’s training process. I could tell that Coleman had invested a lot of time and energy into getting Cooper where he is at now. Even after just two weeks with Coleman, Cooper is a different dog. He comes when I call him the first time. He looks to me for guidance and stays right next to me when we walk. He stays on his place when I put him there and he has not tried to destroy anything in the house since he has been home. Cooper is not super high-strung like he was before and seems so much more relaxed. I know he’s still a puppy and he’s corgi so he will always be stubborn and have all the “corgitude” (which I secretly love)…..but my frustrations and stress with the puppy stage have been significantly minimized because of Coleman and Tip Top K9. I am very thankful for how this training has already changed my relationship with my dog for the better and grateful that I knew Cooper was in great hands while I was away. Cooper and I are both happy and excited to continue to work with Coleman at group classes!! Thank you so much, Coleman!

We had the best experience with Coleman, not only was he great with our dogs but he was excellent with the humans too! He got to know all members of our family and took the time to explain/figure out how to make each one of them successful training our two dogs. He was patient, kind, trustworthy and our dogs are so well behaved now. Would highly recommend giving him a call and scheduling a consultation. I also loved the $1 risk free consultation and there was no pressure to purchase, but the packages were explained well. Thank you Coleman!!!!

Do not attempt to give them business. After putting our deposit down for the initial “training” session, we were then quoted $500-$6000 for “complete training.” We were on their schedule for a week, and an hour before our appointment it gets canceled. Normally not a problem, but their “next” availability is 3 weeks out. So I now have to wait 4 weeks in total to have somebody train my dog? Absolutely not. TERRIBLE customer service. Just tell me our dogs aren’t important to you. Or you have other customers you would rather get to. Instead they gave us a half assed excuse and gave a terrible way to “fix” the situation. Stay far away. Numerous dog trainers in Wichita that are significantly cheaper and will get your dogs in! STAY AWAY!
