TipTopTails Dog Training

Holly is amazing. I have a golden retriever and she was resource guarding bad. With one session of an hour and a half Holly was able to help us start a new routine in the house and within days changes started happening. As of now it has been a month and our dog is changed so much. she even dropped what she considered a high value item on command. normally she would have growled and ran from me, but because of Holly and her suggestions that did not happen. our dog dropped it and laid down by it waiting for my command. I love the help they have provided and will continue to use them always.

A colleague referred us to Holly when we adopted an adult weimaraner who showed big signs of reactivity. Holly is extremely good at reading our dog’s comfort level and knows when to push him and when he is at his limits. She also did a fantastic job training us so we better understand our new dog’s communication style. He is now all wags for each training session and we are so grateful to Holly and TipTopTails for improving our relationship with our dog and our dog’s relationship with his new world.

We are so glad our rescue husky mix puppy Lola was introduced to Tip Top Tails! Kelly and Matt are amazing and so was Puppy Day School! Our pup learned early manners and commands but the socializing portion was huge for us!! Our previous beloved dog that passed away had tons of people anxiety so it was crucial our next pup be the opposite. Kelly and Matt included so many opportunities for the puppies to engage with other dogs and humans and to do so appropriately while attending Puppy School. They were so supportive whenever I have reached out with questions. Lola also completed a puppy group class with Trainer Kat who is also amazing. All in all, these compassionate leaders have made a big difference in our lives and we look forward to continued learning as we move into more advanced training. Highly recommend Tip Top Tails to everyone, no matter what kind of dog you have!
