We believe that building an ACTIVE, EAGER, BOLD and CONFIDENT training partner is the first step towards having a great hunting dog.The material is laid out in a simple step-by-step, easy to understand progression. I can’t say enough about the quality of TK Hot Retrievers. Our pup has exceptional drive, determination, intelligence and 100% natural tracking ability. Most importantly, Jim really made sure we knew the high drive dog we were getting and was as selective with who he chose to be a guardian for his puppies as we were with selecting a breeder. We have an amazing dog that loves to work, but with a great off switch when it’s time to lay down at my desk.

I've had my K9 for two years now. I cannot say enough about my K9 from TKHR. Her disposition is beyond pleasant. She is incredibly loyal, smart, and trainable. She is a LE working K9 in scent detection, animal assisted crisis response, and therapy - for our community. If you're looking for a serious working dog who is versatile and athletic TKHR Labradors are the way to go! I would not hesitate to recommend their dogs, if you're searching you have found the right place.

This result showed up in Google for a golden retriever breeder. However that is NOT the case. This breeder ONLY breeds and sells hunting dogs. They DO NOT sell dogs for pets or home. The owner was really friendly and told me how I can get in touch with other local breeders.

Jim is a great guy and takes a kind approach to training at a high level. He did a great job evaluating our dog and although she didn’t have the right skills, Im so impressed that I’m looking forward to possibly purchasing a dog from here in the future. Highly recommend.
