Donna has Pluto’s best interest at heart. My Pluto is a very cute stubborn hound. He’s a rescue that has a lot of anxieties. I have to be honest and say that Donna’s suggestions have been more helpful than the 3 different vets we have seen! We kept getting the “that’s just how he is” response from them. She spent time getting to know him before teaching us how to better approach him and his needs. One of his issues and anxieties was with eating. He has gained 7lbs since following Donna’s suggestions! She made it clear from the beginning that she was here for Pluto and that her goal was to help Pluto live more comfortably and happily. Pluto tried to nip at our first trainer after introducing the ‘sit’ command. Donna had Pluto sitting, waiting, and leaving it in weeks. What worked best for Pluto was that she took the time to see what he needed and what would work best for him. It’s not a one size fits all type thing. She studied his body language and kept trying until she found something that worked. I highly recommend Donna as a trainer. The fact that I have been able to contact her with emergencies outside of any training session makes me believe that I am working with someone that cares and knows her stuff!
