TMS K-9 Connections

Truman, our Shiloh Shepherd, has great experiences at TMS K9 Connections for both daycare and extended stays. It started with his training as a pup; training which now has become second nature to us. Either walking or jogging we feel comfortable with him by our side, which is important with a large dog. This was made possible with the care and excellent work provided, and continues to this day, by Stephanie and her crew. We have had large dogs in the past and used different care locations, but we are not looking any longer, as Truman has a second home at TMS. It is also nice to see how the TMS crew has built a rich relationship with Truman. In fact, Stephanie is known to affectionately call him her big goof, or big lug. She is not far off. Steve & Tara

This is the best place for your K-9 family member to go while your away! Stephanie and Tom are amazing people and they LOVE dogs! I have not only taken all of my dogs to them, but I have been one of the lucky few people to receive a spectacular German shepherd puppy from them! She was an absolute gift in every way! I have also had the opportunity to refer other families to TMS K-9 and they have been repeat clients as well! The grounds and kennels are very well maintained and the level of care and dedication for your dogs shows with everyone who works at TMS K-9. I will continue to refer anyone and everyone to them. We are in our 70s and had forgotten the energy level and training that is required with a new puppy. When we purchased our adorable Hazel, a 6mo. Old Cocker Spaniel, within the first week, I knew we needed professional training. From the first contact with TMS K-9 Connections, I felt we had hope. Stephanie addressed all my concerns and gave us hope. We completed the 6-week on-site training program. Hazel now obeys our commands and has become a lovable companion for us. We have now enrolled her in the weekly daycare program. Stephanie and all the staff are top-notch! The grounds are safe and beautifully maintained. They offer many services, including bathing. They are seriously dog whispers.

We are so incredibly grateful for Stephanie and her team at TMS K-9 Connections. Our 16-month old lab has been completely transformed during her 6-week training experience. She has always been sweet and loving, but she was easily excitable and she completely controlled our walks. It was such a chore to walk her and it became increasingly frustrating over time. We tried various ways of training her since we first brought her home, but nothing worked well. I honestly wasn't sure how well she would do even in a 6-week training program given her age, but when I did my first training with her after 3 weeks, I was astonished at how well she behaved. Training with her after 6 weeks was even better. We are now doing our home training with her since she returned and it feels so good. Through her training, we now have a way of communicating and understanding each other, and it is amazing. I have had several questions that have come up as we are working with her, and Stephanie has been so responsive and helpful. We really can't thank them enough. Our dog was so well taken care of while training, and I feel they work so hard to make sure each of their dogs are successful.

I came to TMS K9 with a 6 month old golden retriever in need of a new approach. All the training I had done up to this point had been positive-only, and that worked marginally well until she got stronger physically and in personality! I could see we would be in serious trouble if we couldn’t control her when she was full grown. Now we have a 15 month old that behaves very well much of the time. To say we are thrilled with the results would be an understatement. I worried that her sweet disposition would somehow be altered with balanced training, but that absolutely did not happen. I highly recommend TMS K9. They are loving, wise and wonderful. She is so happy to go there for training, daycare or overnight boarding. They are like family to us now.
