TMS K-9 Connections

TMS K-9 made an incredible improvement in the behavior of our dogs and in their quality of life (not to mention ours!). The training was individualized to our needs and our dogs. The pace was great, moving steadily ahead but we had no trouble keeping up. Isabella & Stephanie listened, made great suggestions for us, but also pushed us to move ahead. And our dogs have improved dramatically, really remarkable. We are SO glad we chose TMS K-9 and recommend them without hesitation. To give just one example, before training our 10-yr old 90-lb lab, re-homed to us just a couple months ago, was pulling hard on the leash, running past us to exit doorways, and especially concerning, he lunged from us when encountering other dogs, seriously risking taking one of us to the ground (we're both in our 70's). Last week, after training, we were in the waiting room at our vet, a room maybe 10' x 12', and of course numerous other dogs passed many times in close proximity. Our Lab was in a "down" and completely ignored this parade of other pups. He just watched them go by, no lurching, no growls, nothing. Like night and day.

Our puppy poodle had a wonderful time. We sent her to the longer 6 weeks course, both to address some key behavior issues, but also to learn off-leash. Pretty much all the major issues had been addressed, and she has a clear and strong set of commands. A great example, she would pretty much ignore us when we gave her a down command. Now, with no treat, we say the command and she stops and likely drops to the floor.. and if there is any hesitation (likely because there is something super exciting going on), one "nodown" does the trick. There is still some areas where she is stubborn, but the reality is, she is a living creatures with her own view of the world and not a robot. Getting 100% compliance from such a willful dog is not realistic. The important thing to me is, my kid can walk her by themselves, and if something serious happens we have the tools to bring her back under control.... oh.. and I can bring in the trash bins without her freaking out :) Thanks TMS for kind care you gave her and good base of commands!

Buster & Bailey are like brand new dogs after working with TMS K-9 Connections! Having two hounds, we knew what we were in for—lots of barking, reactiveness, leash pulling, etc. We tried lots of things to get their behavior in check with no luck. Taking our boys on outings was always a stressful event. After a 3 week stay with TMS, now we LOVE our family hikes! Buster & Bailey listen to commands so well & no longer pull on leash. They have the freedom to enjoy being a dog & explore because we know they will obey our commands

TMS K-9 was wonderful for dog! He was a large wild child with a mind of his own before they trained him. When he finished Stephanie's program he was such a different dog with his obedience behavior. Still the goofy loving boy he always was, but now he is that way with manners. They even worked with me on his show needs so that he was well behaved in the ring. My show handler said he was so much easier to handle and showed so much better because of the training he got! He even got his first Best of Breed win and he got a passing score for Rally Obedience - something I never thought he would behave well enough to get. I am so glad I found Stephanie and her team. They truly care and did such a great job. Thank you so much! I highly recommend them for any training!
