Communication was terrible . Would recently have an excuse why training or doggy daycare was not a good day for him . Eventually he completely ghosted us . The backyard was not clean . And although I tried to look pass some of the trainers behaviors and flakiness he really did screw us over last minute and had us scrambling around looking for doggy daycare the last minute …. He was ok at first but we are professional and if I am paying professional prices I expect professional work .

I came to him with a very difficult dog. A very fearful and very stubborn pug/chi mix. She wasn’t listening me and terrified of new people. She never warmed up to John the entire time we trained the 6 sessions we had. But he was so patient and kind with her and came up with creative ways to train her. Honestly he really trained me since I was unorganized and all over the place causing her to be confused with what I was asking. Now nova is on the road to being such a good obedient girl and she loves when it’s time to train with me. I couldn’t be more thankful to John for guiding me and being so patient with me and helping me get to the place I can confidently keep Nova safe and happy. With a little socializing out in the world she will be no longer such a scared girl which makes me so happy. I would recommend John to anyone and his prices are so reasonable for a personal private dog trainer. Thank you so much John and I’ll know who to call in the future

I brought my 3-year-old Cane Corso to Top Dawg Innovative Dog Training after struggling with his reactivity issues for so long. He’s a strong dog, and he wasn’t easy to manage, especially when he wouldn’t even take treats during training. The trainers at Top Dawg were amazing! They really understood his unique needs and didn’t just use a one-size-fits-all approach. The best part was how involved I felt throughout the entire process. The trainers kept me informed about every step and even shared videos of his progress, which was so reassuring. Their pricing was also very fair, especially considering the personalized attention my dog received. Now, I can finally enjoy walks without stressing about his reactivity. He’s still got that Cane Corso spirit, but he listens and is so much calmer. Highly recommend Top Dawg to anyone who needs a trainer who really knows what they’re doing!
