So, if you're thinking of using this person, do more research. Notice how old the reviews are, be aware that they never give you a detailed contract as required nor do they tell you that there are NO REFUNDS no matter what! Always blames the customers and do ANYTHING to keep from giving people their money back, even when there are good reasons for it. It seems the motivation is greed. What happened to decency and professionalism? I will NEVER refer this company, he refused to give me a deposit of $250, he never even saw my dog. ABSOLUTELY SHAMELESS!!

Last spring, I prepaid and registered to attend classes with my dog. The initial conversations with the guy went great. I felt comfortable with him and his ability to help us. He told me when and where to be, when to start our classes, and I was excited to start. However. On day one of our classes, “the most important class,” according to him, we show up at Tractor Supply in Morganton, half an hour away from my house. We waited and waited, along with another lady who was there for the first class as well. Finally, after 45 minutes of waiting for him, she called him, only to find out that he had changed the time of the class to later that afternoon. Neither she nor I knew of the time change. I could not go home and come back 5 hours later - needless to say, I was aggravated but decided that I would try to contact him myself to reschedule into a later class session. After numerous attempts to contact him, this guy has yet to respond. I wasted $190 for obedience training that he did not keep the scheduled time for, and has been unwilling to refund my money OR tell me when we could reschedule. Beware - he may have good reviews, but he owes me $190 for classes that HE cancelled and will not reschedule with me.

We took our Goldendoodle and Moyen Poodle through the Beginner 6 Week Class which completed today and we could not be happier with the experience. During the Beginner Class we were taught the basic commands of heel, whoa, sit, down, stay and come. Les and Linda are excellent instructors who genuinely care about seeing each person succeed in training their dog. They take the extra time to provide one on one advice and tips to improve the the dog’s and the handler’s performance. I highly recommend Top Dawg K-9 for any dog training needs. Les and Linda are absolute professionals and have an understanding of the canine mind like few others.
