My Lab would go there every day and on weekends, too. He gets so excited when we drive in. Drake and Angela are knowledgeable and always go the extra step to help. Love Top Dog and staff.

But they are without Adult the best trained facility and cleanest I have ever seen Angelo did a awesome job wit's an awesome job with Charlie so happy with the results.... I can sleep at night and he does what I ask him to do..... thank you Top Dog Academy

Is this training really exspencive?And do they train dogs 5 years old or just young dogs?

Depends on the service. Classes vary in price depending on what you are looking for. They also offer doggie gay care and that varies on length of stay, but ranges from $16-210. I do love them! Great classes and wonderful teachers.

Do you all do Assistance Dog training? Specifically for Multiple Sclerosis - balance, pulling doors, picking up, bringing the phone, etc? I am the local MS Support Group Leader & would like to find out more for our members (as well as myself).
No they don't. I want to train a dog for my PTSD. The closet place is Raliegh.

I'm sorry, we don't offer service dog training. To our knowledge, there are no trainers in the Greenville area that specialize in this type of training. You may want to search toward Wilmington.

I really thought it was a great place! They seemed to know what they were doing and I really liked the first private lesson my dog got, however I never heard from them again. I've called several times since then and never have anyone answer or call me back when I leave my number. I find it strange because I owed them money for a collar and that first lesson still, yet no one would get in touch with me. My dog is really sweet and learns quick. I just needed some more obediance training and I was concerned about my dog being afraid of men. I wanted to get on top of that and just like I assumed he recently had bit someone. I'm sad that maybe with some help this could have been avoided.
Drake is a great trainer.... Patient, yet firm. He gave us some great pointers to change some undesirable behaviors.

They are very knowlegeable about training and do a wonderful job of teaching you how to communicate with your dog. Louie was quite the handful! He still goes to doggie daycare to get all of built up energy out. The minute we turn in he is instantly excited. He bursts through the door and doesn't look back. He clearly enjoys his time at Top Dog Academy!

I have been coming to Top Dog for 4 years and have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. We took several training classes there in our dog's early years, and have brought her weekly for doggie daycare because she is incredibly happy playing there too. It is a welcome day off for her to let loose from her 3 day a week pet therapy schedule. Angela and Drake are in tune with each dog, and continually help you with remedial training or "what's going on here" types of questions. You can tell they just flat out love dogs and want to help owners enjoy their own dogs at their best.
