Top Dog Training and Resort

I was happy that I chose Top Dog for my dog LadyBird.The staff was friendly and attentive each time I called. I called once during her week boarding just to check up on her because she was new to boarding. The lady on the phone seemed happy to answer my check up questions. I definitely will bring her back! I really enjoyed seeing photos of my dog each day and getting a report card. The report cards are awesome! Also, my dog is 6 months old and most boarding places require spaying by 6 months old. My dog is a Great Pyrenees, so our vet has recommended waiting until she develops a little more before spaying because she is a large breed. It was nice that Top Dog would allow Ladybird to participate in playtime! Really thankful to the staff at Top Dog. My dog came home happy and sleepy.

Where do I begin?? I was desperate to find a place where my young and (very) active golden retriever, Sugar, could release her energy and learn some much needed manners. She was initially timid and I was nervous about dropping her off at a "day school" but it was one of the best decisions we made. I first spoke with trainer Ashley because she knew I was interested in the 3 week Basic Obedience Training program but I wanted reassurance that Sugar was comfortable with the facility before boarding her. As such, we first put her in day school and Ashley was wonderful about keeping me updated with how Sugar was doing, sending me pictures, etc. Overtime, Sugar built up her confidence and started to LOVE Top Dog and we then felt comfortable sending her for Boarding. Trainers Ashley and Garret did a fabulous job with her. Of course one must keep up the training at home and that can be challenging but Sugar is much better mannered, walks well in the neighborhood (people always stop us amazed by her transition), and is overall more fun to have around. ALSO, the training for life guarantee is amazing as Ashley already came to our house on one occasion to help us with some of Sugar's more challenging behaviors and she has always answered my random questions as they have popped up regarding training and behavior. As for the day school, Sugar is a regular. Thee rest of the Top Dog Staff has been wonderful with Sugar (she would leave me for any of them) and you can tell they genuinely love the dogs they watch over. I will say that my only "worry" is it's obvious Top Dog's popularity has continued to increase dramatically and with good reason...everyone there is fabulous and the dogs are well cared for. However, I hope that Top Dog can continue to handle the increasing business without sacrificing any of the quality of care/attention/training the dogs get and that regular clients can continue to be accommodated for the services offered without it becoming too difficult.
