Megan and Topline K9 truly "rescued" me & my fur baby! I adopted Mia - a painfully shy, beautiful blue-eyed 6 month-old from the Sedona Humane Society. Mia was so untrusting of the world she immediately ran away the first chance she got . . . three days later when we finally got her back (shout out to Kirk Landauer and the Humane Society volunteers who searched tirelessly for her!), Mia was still "lost". She wouldn't walk on a leash, play with her toys or engage with people at all. She had some trust issues - but hey, who doesn't? I wasn't about to give up on her, but I honestly didn't know what to do . . . that's when I found Topline. I spoke to Stephanie about Mia; she came to our house to meet with us and recommended their board & train program. I can honestly say this was one of the BEST INVESTMENTS you can ever make. Megan does not simply train your dog to sit, stay, etc. Each dog is unique and special - and she approaches their training accordingly, realizing that there's no one mold that works for every dog. Her love of animals is immediately evident and I was confident leaving Mia in her hands. She was communicative and honest with me every step of the process, letting me know that it was going to take a lot of love, patience, and time in order to gain Mia's trust. And she was 100% right! Mia is doing great now . . . She loves all things "dog" - hiking, playing & going to the park - but more importantly - she is learning to trust & enjoy the world around her, albeit one step at a time . . . Megan came to our home when we added a new puppy to our pack. She was incredibly knowledgeable!!
