Topline Canine

Reading all these reviews really confuses me. 5 stars?!? How?!? I wish we could give a five star review or we even knew who Stephanie was. We never even met Stephanie. I talked to her for a few minutes on the phone before she sent my call to Kayla. Stephanie and Kayla live in different cities. Stephanie did not meet our dog. She did call me once while my dog was already in boarding to ask if I was interested in the program. I told her my dog was already IN the program. She let me know her and her partner were in Hawaii. Oh, ok. We had our puppy stay at Kayla’s home for 12 days (not two weeks) instead of the boarding facility they are “partnered” with. We felt pressured to pay within 24hrs so he could stay at a home instead of alone in the boarding facility. When our puppy came home he basically only knew what I had already taught him which was to sit, come, stay, give 5, his name and was getting more comfortable on a leash walking downtown daily to socialize. The only difference was now he has an E collar which makes marking a “bad behavior” easier. He learned nothing new that we listed to teach him in the contract. I had some specific requests that weren’t taught. So, I would tell everyone instead of wasting almost $3000 you should spend $300-$500 and buy yourself a really good BRAND NEW (not dirty, faulty and chewed) E collar with a warranty and watch good YouTube videos of trainers. I had to call/txt daily to get updates and mostly got them. Our mid lesson was about 25min long (after we drove over an hour each way) and all we saw was leash walking improvement (thanks to the E collar) but nothing else. Now he’s home and we’re the ones doing all the training. No follow up as promised until after I reached out, no checking to see how everyone is adjusting and no remedy to the dissatisfaction and thousands of dollars wasted. It’s sad. The only benefit to this entire training was the E-collar. I hope this review helps people not waste their money and time. You CAN do this yourself! Just get the right collar.

We just sent our new and "spicy" little cattle dog Buckley to Topline's 2 week board and train program. He's been home for about 11 days now and has made so many amazing improvements! He is now a pleasure to walk, staying right by our sides and responding to our commands. He has gotten tons better with our kitties, giving them much more respect and space and responding if we need to correct him. He has gained much more confidence and seems to really enjoy his training! He is still a bit nervous around other dogs, but we are working through this day by day and still have our 2 follow-up sessions to address ways to improve this as well. We are very glad that we invested in Buckley's training and he is a much happier boy for it too!

We sent our, then, 16 week old puppy to the two week board and train program with Topline K9. He was a blank slate and any training would have been appreciated. In that short period Bridey was able to stop him from chewing on rocks, while learning to sit and stay, heel, and come. He quit jumping on strangers and generally became a well behaved puppy. After two years he still does all of that very well. We are about to schedule the second of our follow up sessions…still available after all this time. I would definitely recommend this training program
